VICTOR to power Zii Jia's Olympic dreams through 2028

KUALA LUMPUR: Men's singles Lee Zii Jia has reaffirmed his commitment to VICTOR, extending their partnership through the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

On Monday, world No. 8 Zii Jia announced a new four-year contract extension with the Taiwanese sports manufacturer, which has stood by him since he turned professional in 2022.

Throughout his partnership with VICTOR, Zii Jia weathered challenging periods of inconsistent form before justifying the brand's faith in him by securing the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics in August.

With VICTOR's continued backing, Zii Jia aims to elevate his professional career to new heights, setting his sights firmly on clinching gold at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

"It is with great pleasure at such an opportune time for me to share this very good news that I will continue my career towards the LA 2028 Olympics with VICTOR," announced Zii Jia on his Instagram account.

"I would like to thank VICTOR for their trust and unconditional support to allow me to work again with my favourite brand. Not forgetting about the staff who work tirelessly throughout the whole process."

"Reflecting on the challenges and ups and downs I've faced along the way, I am grateful that VICTOR has always been by my side, serving as my greatest source of strength."

"Additionally, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to those who have always supported me and chosen to stick by me. I hope that together with VICTOR, we can continue to be a strong support system for each other as I continue to pursue the best version of myself and to chase my dreams towards LA28."

VICTOR's continued support of Zii Jia is understandable given his marketing influence.

The former All England champion commands a massive social media following of 1.2 million followers, substantially surpassing fellow VICTOR-sponsored men's singles players, including Denmark's Anders Antonsen (313,000) and Japan's Kodai Naraoka (172,000).

This strong market presence has led to the creation of a dedicated co-branded collection - VICTOR X LZJ — featuring products including racquet bags, T-shirts, wristbands, sports towels, socks, caps, and water bottles.
