KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today conducted a surprise inspection of public facilities at a petrol station in Putrajaya near here.
In a social media post, Anwar was seen meeting the public, who patronised the petrol station.
He was also seen inspecting the facilities thoroughly together with several schoolchildren.
"Accompanied by my bodyguard, I personally observed the readiness of all facilities provided for visitors.
"I believe there is still much room for improvement that all fuel station providers can utilise, particularly in ensuring that prayer mats are in good, clean condition," he said.
Anwar said such level of preparedness of the facilities could elevate the quality of service to better standards, prioritising cleanliness and public comfort.
