JAKARTA: Asean Secretary-General Dr Kao Kim Hourn is scheduled to attend the 37th Asia-Pacific Roundtable in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday and Wednesday.
He will lead discussions on "Asean in 2025: Reflecting on the Past, Shaping the Future" during the conference's second plenary session, according to the Asean Secretariat in a statement.
Hosted by a Malaysian think tank, the Institute of Strategic & International Studies, the roundtable serves as a platform for addressing significant issues affecting the Asia-Pacific region.
With the theme "Crisis in an Interregnum", the Asia-Pacific Roundtable reflects on the current state of geostrategic affairs.
The event regularly attracts over 300 thinkers from diverse backgrounds who engage in lively, frank, and constructive conversations on issues shaping the region's security, stability, sustainability, and prosperity. - BERNAMA
