KUALA LUMPUR: Singer and actress Nabila Razali announced that she was pregnant with her first child and is expected to give birth in January.
The 32-year-old artiste, whose full name is Nur Nabila Mohd Razali, expressed gratitude and excitement
for the blessing with her husband, Nik Iruwan Nik Izani, 39.
"Alhamdulillah, my husband and I are very grateful for this rezeki. Thank you for all your prayers and support.
"This is a very happy moment for us, and we can't wait to share this journey with everyone who has supported my career and life," she said in a statement today.
The Tangis hitmaker added that her artistic career would continue with various interesting plans that have been drawn up.
"There is no denying that now I get tired quickly and rest more. Previously, when I was working, it was really hard to stop. Now is the time when I just feel like sleeping.
"However, I am still committed to the arts, with some projects that have been planned so far. I will do my best," she said.
Nabila added that with the support of family, friends, and loyal fans, she is confident that this phase will be another beautiful chapter in her life.
"This phase is another starting point for gratitude and joy, where every moment becomes a precious experience that will surely be immortalised in memory.
"Please pray for an easy pregnancy and delivery," she said.
Talking about her pregnancy so far, Nabila said that there were no significant changes except for her increasing appetite.
"Alhamdulillah, I don't have any extreme cravings or severe allergies. Just the usual. If there is a change, it's in terms of energy level.
"Another thing, of course, I eat a lot now. My appetite has increased. Anyway, I just want to enjoy the journey throughout this pregnancy," she said.
Nabila and her husband tied the knot on Nov 18 last year.
