Popular Malaysian singer and actress Nabila Razali has made a powerful comeback with her latest single, 'Tangis'. The song, which delves into themes of grief and loss, has quickly resonated with listeners and become a hit across the music scene.
Composed by renowned singer-songwriter Naim Daniel, 'Tangis' features Nabila's emotive vocals that capture the song's raw, heartfelt lyrics.
The production was handled by Rudy Nastia and Farez Asmadi, enhancing the song's emotional depth.
Nabila, 32, whose full name is Nur Nabila Mohd Razali, expressed hope that 'Tangis' would touch hearts and offer comfort to those going through tough times.
"This song can move every listener. 'Tangis' evokes deep emotions and provides solace during difficult moments. I believe its soulful melody and heartfelt lyrics can resonate with anyone," she said.
She added that the song serves as more than just music, and reflects shared human experiences.
"It's a way to express feelings many can relate to. The positive response so far shows its potential to form a strong emotional bond with listeners."
'Tangis' is also the theme song for the drama series 'Bawah Payung Awan', in which Nabila stars alongside Ben Amir.
The series, adapted from Liza Nur's novel, premiered on Viu on June 13, with the song enhancing the emotional weight of key scenes.
Since its release, the drama series has also gained popularity on TikTok — especially in Malaysia and Indonesia — and become one of the top-ranked shows on Viu.
