World No. 31 Jun Hao staged a remarkable comeback, rallying from 10-17 down in the deciding game to claim a thrilling 10-21, 21-18, 22-20 victory in a 76-minute semi-final clash.
The Malaysian shuttler will face either Denmark's two-time Olympic champion Viktor Axelsen or China's Asian Games champion Li Shi Feng in his maiden Super 500 final tomorrow.
