KUALA LUMPUR: Forward Cristiano Ronaldo is facing legal action from a top cosmetic doctor in Cheshire, England, over an alleged £40,000 (RM224,000) unpaid bill.
The lawsuit was filed by Dr Roshan Ravindran, known professionally as Dr Rosh, according to The Sun.
The Real Madrid legend and current Al-Nassr star reportedly failed to pay for treatments received during his second stint at Manchester United between 2021 and 2022.
Dr Ravindran claims to have treated the 39-year-old Ronaldo as well as members of his family and entourage.
The legal filing does not explicitly mention Ronaldo's partner, Georgina Rodriguez, but confirms treatments were extended to those close to the Portuguese star.
When contacted by The Sun, Dr Ravindran declined to comment directly on the matter.
"There is an ongoing legal matter, and as a professional, I do not discuss my patients."
A source quoted by The Sun described Dr Ravindran as a highly respected figure in his field, known for treating elite sports stars and Hollywood celebrities.
Dubbed the "number one choice" for cosmetic procedures such as Botox and fillers, he has built a reputation as a go-to expert for the rich and famous.
The lawsuit adds to the off-field controversies surrounding the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, who has been a magnet for headlines both on and off the pitch.
