KUALA LUMPUR: Local badminton fans were thrilled to meet two-time Olympic champion Viktor Axelsen during a meet-and-greet session at the ongoing Malaysia Open at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil on Wednesday.
Fans eagerly posed for pictures with the former world champion, who graciously interacted with them despite his first-round loss to Hong Kong's Lee Cheuk Yiu.
World No. 4 Axelsen, known for his approachable demeanour, greeted everyone with a broad smile and signed autographs until the queue was empty.
Axelsen will resume his World Tour campaign at next week's India Open.
