KUALA LUMPUR: The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) said employers are required to complete all data and payment submissions for monthly tax deductions (PCB) for the current month and previous years before Jan 15.
LHDN said the employers should complete their tax deductions within that timeline as the new e-PCB Plus would be introduced to replace the current systems such as e-PCB, e-Data PCB and eCP39 under the MyTax portal.
"This implementation aligns with the transition plan towards the e-PCB Plus system, phase 1, which commenced on Sept 24, 2024.
"It involves the registration of roles for employers, employer representatives, PCB administrators on MyTax and administrative representatives on e-PCB Plus for all employers involved in PCB."
It added that from Jan 15, the current PCB system would be accessible only for viewing purposes to allow employers to review past PCB information or records.
The full implementation of e-PCB Plus will be announced before its official launch for use by all employers and users.
"Therefore, LHDN advises employers who are using the e-PCB, e-Data PCB and e-CP39 systems and have yet to register with the e-PCB Plus system to promptly complete all related submissions to facilitate a smooth transition process."
