KUALA LUMPUR: A video showing massive potholes on a stretch of road has recently gone viral, sparking outrage and concern among motorists and netizens.
The 21-second video, shared on X by @update11111, reveals potholes deep enough to swallow car tires or damage their suspension.
These 'craters' forced drivers to slow down and swerve to avoid damaging their vehicles.
In the comment section, one user identified the location as Lahad Datu, Sabah.
User @thekimzj commented that the situation is like driving on the surface of Mars—nothing but craters.
Another user, @UncleJakferrr, humorously but critically remarked, "Is this 2024 or World War II? Landmines everywhere," capturing the frustration and disbelief of many who felt navigating the road was like dodging explosive hazards.
User @deekay_V2 said, "The minister has to go (drive) through the road; only then will the Public Works Department repair it."
