KUALA LUMPUR: Another video of a bullying incident has gone viral, this time, showing a boy in tears after being slapped by another boy.
The two-minute clip shared on a whistleblower site shows a group of boys surrounding the victim who is sitting on the edge of a drain.
The alleged bully can be seen talking to the boy before slapping him.
According to the site, the incident purportedly took place in Sarawak and the victim was slapped for not replying to calls and messages from the alleged bully.
The New Straits Times has reached out to the police for comment.
The video comes days after another bullying clip went viral.
In that incident, two Form Three schoolgirls can be seen bullying a junior. In the video, the two grils can be seen slapping the victim in a restroom.
Perak police chief Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said the police were probing the case.
Yusri said the incident was believed to be caused by jealousy towards the victim, who is said to be close to a Form Three boy from the same school.
