KOTA KINABALU: Industrial and commercial consumers of electricity can apply up to RM100,000 from the Energy Audit Conditional Grant (EACG).
The grant is applicable for those who use more than 100,000 kWh of electricity per month and, therefore, subjected to the Efficient Management of Electrical Energy Regulations (EMEER 2024) under the Sabah Electricity Supply Enactment.
Under this programme, eligible users could conduct energy audit activities at their installations. More information on EACG applications could be found at www.seda.gov.my/eagrant.
For further details and facilitation on compliance and registration, stakeholders could utilise the ECoS Online System at www.ecos.gov.my.
