#SHOWBIZ: Che Ta's friend Anas Zahrin settles her debt with contractor

KUALA LUMPUR: A contractor, BaNi Rahman, recently deleted a social media post in which he accused actress Rozita Che Wan (popularly known as Che Ta) of not paying him for artificial grass installation services at her residence last year.

The dispute was resolved when Che Ta's close friend, entrepreneur Mohamad Anas Zahrin, stepped in to settle the RM7,000 debt, Harian Metro reported.

BaNi shared his gratitude in a heartfelt Facebook post, praising Anas for his kindness and generosity.

"Thank God, he has helped me settle the payment of RM7,000.

"I didn't expect this. It's rare to find such a good friend who helps without even informing Rozita," BaNi wrote, calling Anas a true friend.

BaNi revealed that he plans to use the payment to fulfill his dream of performing Umrah in Makkah.

"I have always wanted to go on Umrah. May Allah SWT invite me there," he added, noting that he is currently searching for a suitable agency for the pilgrimage.

Previously, BaNi claimed his company, BANI Grass, was hired to install artificial grass at Che Ta's residence.

Despite completing most of the groundwork, he alleged that Che Ta hired another company to finish the project, citing that the latter provided the grass as a sponsorship.

As a result, BaNi was not compensated for his work or expenses, which included travel from Melaka.

BaNi expressed his disappointment in Che Ta through his viral social media post, which drew significant public attention.
