#SHOWBIZ: Che Ta unfazed by raid, sells preloved clothes online

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress and entrepreneur Rozita Che Wan appears to be "unshaken" by the ongoing controversy involving the seizure of her property by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (Mara).

As Mara officers raided her bungalow in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya yesterday for allegedly failing to settle debts of almost RM1 million, Rozita busied herself selling second hand clothes via her TikTok account yesterday.

The live broadcast started at 9pm and lasted until midnight, garnering 20,000 views and more than 200,000 likes.

Rozita, 51, was seen selling her family's used clothes, and during the live session, the mother of three said that she had been doing so for a long time.

Rozita said that the business had been going on since 2016, but through a different platform.

Meanwhile, Rozia's live appearance on TikTok was eagerly awaited by fans and netizens as they wanted to ask questions about her debt.

However, Rozita ignored all such questions.

Yesterday, the house of the Adik Manja Returns actress was raided by Mara along with lawyers and court representatives following her failure to repay a loan worth almost RM1 million.

Rozita is alleged to have taken out a loan in 2017, but has allegedly never repaid it.

When the raid was carried out, only Rozita's mother was at home.

The actress has not issued any statement, but her manager, Afeeq Abd Wahab said that she will provide an explanation on the issue soon.
