KUALA LUMPUR: Recently divorced actress Nora Danish, 42, offered words of encouragement to her ex-husband, Nedim Nazri, 41, who is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital here.
Nora hoped that Nedim, whom she calls 'daddy', would be strong in the face of the health problems he was experiencing.
"Stay strong 'daddy'," wrote Nora in an Instagram Story entry which featured a photo of Nedim lying in bed in the hospital.
According to Harian Metro, Nedim, or Mohamed Nedim Mohamed Nazri, had shared that he was admitted to the ICU at a hospital, here but did not reveal what he was being treated for.
"I am 41 years old and I am now in the hospital, ICU," he said.
Nora's post drew attention from Netizens who praised them for still being cordial with each other even though they were no longer married.
Some even described their relationship as a positive example for other divorced couples to emulate.
Earlier, Nora and Nedim agreed to separate amicably on June 19 through proceedings at the Federal Territory Syariah Court in Kuala Lumpur.
This follows the unfortunate news that broke at the end of April when Nora revealed that their relationship was in turmoil.
But they maintained a good relationship for the sake of their children.
The couple got married on March 30, 2017 and have a son, Mohamed Neqayl, who is now six years old.
