KUALA LUMPUR: Ahmad Fazril Mohd Fauzi has stepped down as the chief financial officer (CFO) of Boustead Heavy Industries Corporation Bhd (BHIC).
According to a Bursa Malaysia Securities filing, the 41-year-old resigned to explore other opportunities, though the specifics of these interests were not disclosed.
Ahmad Fazril held the CFO position for three years, starting on August 1, 2021.
Prior to this role, he was the head of group internal audit, risk management, and integrity & governance at Boustead Holdings Bhd from 2018 to 2021.
BHIC shares closed at 51 sen a share at midday, resulting in a market capitalisation of RM287 million.
