JUICE Malaysia, an iconic local pop culture and entertainment portal, has expanded its offerings with the launch of a new Bahasa Melayu segment called #IkatTepi.
Known for its edgy, bold content and extensive coverage of Malaysia's vibrant entertainment scene, this move aims to cater to a growing online audience and embrace the nation's love for its native language.
Editor-in-chief Ben Liew shared the motivation behind the addition: "JUICE has always been about inclusivity, even from our early days as a street culture magazine. So we thought, what better way to serve our audience than to have a dedicated section in our national language.
"The decision was also driven by the shift towards local urban artists embracing Bahasa Melayu as their medium of expression."
The new #IkatTepi tab will retain JUICE's signature style, focusing on the same exciting content its English-speaking readers enjoy, but with a special emphasis on topics that resonate with Bahasa Melayu readers.
From local gigs, festivals, and events to Malaysian fashion tips and cultural stories, #IkatTepi aims to deliver all things pop culture through a distinctly Malaysian lens.
JUICE Malaysia, which began in 2002 as a free street magazine, has since evolved into a dynamic online platform, serving up daily updates on the latest happenings in entertainment, music, and pop culture.
