KUALA LUMPUR: KL City treated their new FA offcials, who were elected last week, to a dramatic 3-1 win against Kelantan Darul Naim (KDN) in a Super League match at KLFA Stadium on Friday.
Captain Paulo Josue was the architect of KL City's come-from-behind win against the Kelantan side.
After a goalless first half, visitors KDN took the lead in the 57th minute through Washington Brandao.
However, KL City responded swiftly with defender Nicholas Swirad finding the equaliser seven minutes later.
Kl City, coached by Miroslav Kuljanac, pressed on and they pulled ahead 2-1 in the 80th minute through a goal by Josue, after an assist from substitute Patrick Reichelt.
In stoppage time, the Brazil-born Josue found the net again.
The victory lifted KL City to sixth place in the table with 14 points from 12 games while KDN remained in 12th with six points.
