KUALA LUMPUR: Daniel Ting led Sabah to a crucial 2-0 victory over 10-man Negri Sembilan in Thursday's Super League match at Likas Stadium, Kota Kinabalu.
The defender scored the opening goal for Sabah in the 14th minute.
Negri were down to 10 players when Norfiqrie Talib received his marching orders in the 65th minute.
Sabah were awarded a penalty in the 79th minute, and Jafri Chew made no mistakes from the spot.
With the win, Sabah are provisionally second in the standings with 10 points from five games
