World No. 13 Wei Chong-Kai Wun outplayed Hong Kong Open winners Min Hyuk-Seung Jae 21-18, 21-19 in a second round match that lasted 39 minutes.
It was the Malaysian pair's second win over the Koreans in five meetings after their first win at the Indonesian Open in June.
