KUALA LUMPUR: A video of a Mamak restaurant worker being reprimanded by the Melaka Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) officers received positive feedback from social media users.
A TikTok video posted by the KPDN Melaka account showed the officers reprimanding the restaurant worker for not showing the price tags for the salted eggs, among other items.
When asked by the officers, the worker said the incident happened due to the constant changes in price involving the food item, which the officer said was not a valid excuse.
The officer said that not putting a price tag would pose difficulty for consumers in making decisions.
However, the cleanliness of the restaurant was applauded by the officers.
In response, some social media users praised the officers' efforts. @noraini.ahmad68 said the explanation given by the officers was precise and easy to understand.
Some other users also hoped the same performance could be replicated by the KPDN officers in their respective states.
