Hot FM unveils state-of-the-art studio at Balai Berita Bangsar

KUALA LUMPUR: Hot FM's new studio at Balai Berita, New Straits Times Press, Bangsar, was officially launched today (Dec 23).

The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology, marking a significant milestone for the popular radio network.

The launch ceremony was officiated by Media Prima Berhad (MPB) group managing director, Rafiq Razali, alongside Bekpes Hot FM segment presenters, including Khairy Jamaluddin, Johan, and AG Azmeer, earlier today.

Also present were Media Prima Audio chief executive officer Nazri Noran, and Media Prima Television Network and Primeworks Studios CEO Nini Yusof.

During the launch, Rafiq extended his best wishes to Hot FM.

"Congratulations to Hot FM. I am pleased to inaugurate the new Hot FM studio today," he said.

Hot FM network content director Raja Nadia Salwana Raja Hisham expressed hope that the new studio would boost morale while providing inspiration for further progress.

"We hope that this new studio will inspire us to continue working hard and deliver the best for our loyal listeners.

"We also hope it sparks extraordinary ideas and creativity for Hot FM listeners. Other Media Prima Audio radio networks will follow suit in stages," she said.

Previously, MPB's television network officially began full operations at Balai Berita NSTP, Bangsar, on Oct 21, after more than three decades at Sri Pentas.

The relocation brings the television network under one roof with The New Straits Times Press (M) Berhad's media platforms, including brands under Media Prima such as Berita Harian, Harian Metro, and New Straits Times.

The move to the new premises, equipped with modern studio facilities, is a significant step towards establishing itself as an inclusive media company in Malaysia.
