KUALA LUMPUR: The floods have claimed another victim in Terengganu, the National Disaster Management Agency reported.
It said the floods have resulted in six fatalities.
"The latest reported death was in Dungun Terengganu yesterday," it said, adding that nearly 85,000 victims remain displaced due to floods.
The seven affected states were Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, Johor, Perak, Melaka, and Pahang.
"A total of 84,902 victims from 25,659 families remain at 299 flood relief centres in 30 districts within these seven states as of 4pm today.
"The states with the highest number of evacuees are Kelantan (57,055 victims), Terengganu (19,073 victims) and Kedah (6,885 victims)," it said.
