PASIR MAS: Menteri Besar Datuk Nassuruddin Daud personally distributed food aid to flood victims in his constituency today, navigating floodwaters by boat.
In a Facebook post, the 59-year-old Meranti assemblyman was seen accompanied by a few officers as he delivered essential supplies.
Nassuruddin, who piloted the boat himself, shared that he has been actively assisting flood victims since Thursday, despite his own house in Meranti being inundated.
"I've been going house to house to hand over donations to those affected," he said, adding that his daily operations start early in the morning and continue after Zuhor prayers.
Meranti, part of the Pasir Mas district, is among the hardest-hit areas, with over 30 locations submerged after the Golok River breached its banks on Wednesday.
Floods have also impacted nine other districts in Kelantan, displacing thousands of residents.
