KUALA LUMPUR: An elderly couple who went missing after a trip to Selayang has been found safe in Kuantan.
The couple's daughter, Mashitah Zahari, took to social media yesterday to seek help in locating her parents, who were supposed to return to their village in Pahang after their trip.
The couple had travelled to Selayang on a motorcycle but did not return home as planned.
At 2 am today, Mashitah shared via 'The Reporter' Facebook page that her parents had been found in Kuantan.
She explained that her parents had initially returned home but realised their motorcycle's storage box, containing valuables and wallets, was missing.
The couple decided to head back to look for it.
"They looked tired, and the motorcycle storage box is still missing," Mashitah said in her post after reuniting with her parents.
