KUALA LUMPUR: A woman was rescued after falling from the second floor of an apartment at Arena Green in Bukit Jalil this morning.
The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department's operations centre said it was alerted to the incident at 8.56am.
The victim, believed to be in her 30s, suffered a fractured left leg.
Operations Commander Senior Fire Officer II Rosmawi Ismail from the Bukit Jalil fire and rescue station said a fire rescue tender vehicle, an Emergency Medical Rescue Services unit and seven personnel were dispatched to the scene.
"Upon arrival, the team found the victim on the roof of the building's ground floor after she fell from the second floor.
"Firefighters successfully brought the woman to safety and handed her over to Health Ministry personnel for further action."
