IPOH: A man is seeking the public's help to find his missing brother, who disappeared a month ago.
Noor Syaifuan Abu Talib, 44, from Taman Kinding Raya, Tanjung Rambutan, said the last time he saw his brother Noor Azmi, 39, the fourth of five siblings, was in August.
He said Noor Azmi is still single and lives with their 67-year-old mother in Taman Meru Permai.
"On Aug 19, I took our mother to my house in Tanjung Rambutan because she missed her grandchild.
"On the same day, Azmi came to my house for lunch. He then told my wife he was going out to look for work on his red Modenas Kris motorcycle with the registration number AJD926.
"However, he has not returned home since that day. We asked his friends, but no one knows or has seen him," he said, adding he filed a report at the Tanjung Rambutan police station on Aug 22.
Noor Syaifuan expressed concern, especially for their mother, fearing something bad might have happened to Noor Azmi.
"Our mother has high blood pressure and diabetes. Since Azmi went missing, she has not been as cheerful when seeing her grandchild. She has become depressed and spends more time in her room. Sometimes, she cries herself to sleep.
"Every day, she asks me about the progress of Azmi's search. I can only reply that my siblings and I are trying various methods.
"Azmi's phone is unreachable, and he never replies to our messages on WhatsApp. I've checked all the hospitals in case of an accident, but his name is not on any patient list," he said.
The second child of five siblings said Azmi previously worked as a food delivery driver in Ipoh, but due to a lack of orders, he had to quit his job.
Noor Syaifuan is appealing to anyone who has seen or knows the whereabouts of Azmi to contact him or his family.
