ALOR SETAR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will meet flood victims at several temporary relief centres (PPS) in the state.
Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, is expected to announce aid for those affected by the floods in Kedah.
He will also be monitoring the situation on the ground, starting with a visit to the PPS in Stadium Sultan Abdul Halim at 10.45.
Anwar will then visit two more PPS in SMK Agama Kedah and SK Titi Gajah.
Earlier this morning, it was reported that floods in Kedah have worsened with 7,469 people being evacuated to 42 PPS in Kota Setar, Kubang Pasu, Pendang, Kuala Muda, Bandar Baharu and Pokok Sena.
