Singaporean motorcyclist killed in crash near Johor Causeway [WATCH]

JOHOR BARU: A Singaporean motorcyclist was killed after being run over by another rider near the Johor Causeway bike lane, heading towards Bangunan Sultan Iskandar, yesterday.

Johor Baru (South) police chief Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat said the 50-year-old victim died at the scene in the 1.40pm incident.

The Singaporean lost control of his bike, crashed into roadside barriers, and fell onto the road.

A second motorcyclist following closely behind was unable to stop in time and ran over the man.

The case is being investigated under the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving causing death.
