PUTRAJAYA: The government has yet to receive any feedback yet on the memorandum of understanding involving allocations for opposition members of parliament.
As such, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said any question regarding the MoU should be directed to the opposition bloc.
"Ask the opposition... we (the government) have yet to receive any feedback from them, no response. So, ask them," he said when met after the TVET Competent ST — Energy Transition Catalyst event here today.
Earlier this month, Perikatan Nasional chief whip Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan had confirmed receiving the draft of the MoU.
However, he said PN would have to discuss the matter first, adding that this would be done after the Nenggiri by-election.
The Nenggiri by-election was held on Aug 17.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had before that said the issue of allocations for opposition MPs should not be turned into a complex one.
