KUALA LUMPUR: The maintenance and replacement of assets at the Sungai Selangor water treatment plant phase 1, which began this morning, is expected to be completed this evening.
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd said work began at 9am today as scheduled, and is expected to be done by 7pm.
It said water supply would be gradually resumed in phases starting from 3am tomorrow once the main water distribution system is stabilised.
Air Selangor said 20 per cent of consumers were expected to have their water supply restored by 3pm tomorrow and 90 per cent by 3am on Friday.
Full restoration for the affected areas, it said, was expected by noon on Friday.
