KUALA LUMPUR: A senior executive of a television station in Sarawak was detained by police this afternoon.
According to the Sarawak-based portal Dayak Daily, the executive was arrested outside the station's office in Kuching.
It said photos of the executive being picked up out of the office were shared on social media.
The photos showed the man wearing a cap and a face mask.
According to sources cited by the portal, the executive had just returned from performing the umrah.
NST has reached out to the police for comment.
