A magistrate's court here granted a four-day remand, starting Thursday, for the duo to assist in an investigation into the alleged bribery for government contracts.
The two were arrested under Section 17 of the MACC Act 2009, Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki confirmed.
Azam also did not rule out the possibility of further arrests in connection with the case.
According to a statement from the MACC's Sarawak office, the arrests took place at 5.30am on Thursday at the commission's Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho office.
