Body found in car boot; 2 men arrested

BANTING: A man's body was discovered in the boot of a car stopped by police on Dec 3.

Kuala Langat police chief Superintendent Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi said that police personnel conducting a routine patrol stopped a vehicle with two foreign nationals inside around 5am.

"A search of the vehicle uncovered the body of a male foreigner in the boot. Initial checks revealed the victim had multiple injuries," he said in a statement.

A medical officer from the Telok Panglima Garang health clinic confirmed the victim's death at the scene.

The two men, aged 17 and 22, have been remanded for a week to assist with the investigation.

According to preliminary findings, the suspects and the victim had worked together on a local farm.

"We are investigating the motive behind the murder and the suspects' involvement," Akmalrizal said.
