BALIK PULAU: The remand of four factory operators to assist in the investigation of the gang rape of a 14-year-old teenager in Bayan Lepas on Nov 10 has been extended for three more days.

Session Court judge Ahzal Fariz Ahmad Khairuddin granted the remand extension effective tomorrow until Nov 21.

This extension is to allow further investigation under Section 375b of the Penal Code.

Earlier, the four men, aged between 20 and 25, arrived at the Balik Pulau magistrate's court at 8,29am, escorted by police officers.

They had previously been remanded for seven days, which ended today.

According to reports, the victim, who is still a student, allegedly left home at 12.30am before being sexually assaulted by three men in a rented house on Jalan Sungai Ara 3.
