KUALA LUMPUR: Police today said the case involving a private religious school chairman who was charged with outraging modesty in Port Dickson is not related to the ongoing investigation into Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holdings (GISB).
Port Dickson district police chief Superintendent Maslan Udin confirmed the matter in a brief reply via WhatsApp to the New Straits Times.
"No connection with GISB," Maslan said.
It was reported that the chairman of a private religious school in the district, who is also an ustaz, was charged at the magistrate's court in Port Dickson in Negri Sembilan with outraging the modesty of a practical teacher last month.
