KUALA LUMPUR: Five suspects have been arrested in connection with the abduction of six-year-old Albertine Leo Jia Hui.
Johor police chief Commissioner M. Kumar reported that the suspects, including two women, have no known connection to the victim.
A 31-year-old man was arrested early this morning at a hotel in Batang Kali, where he was found with the victim.
The suspect's car, believed to have been used in the abduction, was also seized.
The man will be brought back to Johor for further investigation.
Meanwhile, the other three suspects were arrested in Iskandar Puteri, Gelang Patah, Johor last night.
They were brought to the Johor Baru Court Complex and remanded for four days to assist with the investigation.
Another suspect, a woman, was arrested later last night.
Leo was reported missing at around 8.30pm on Saturday from the Eco Galleria business centre in Iskandar Puteri.
She was found safe today in Batang Kali.
