MELAKA: Two men robbed a jewellery store at a shopping mall in Banda Hilir here yesterday afternoon.
A closed-circuit television recording showed two masked men entering the ground-floor premises.
The video showed two female employees at the store.
One of the suspects brandished a weapon hidden inside his jacket, demanding the jewellery on the counters.
Moments later, one of the suspects grabbed jewellery from behind the counter before jumping over it.
Staff watched helplessly as the suspects escape with the valuables.
Melaka Tengah police chief Assistant Commissioner Christopher Patit said the case is under investigation.
