KUALA LUMPUR: UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd has introduced three new models to the market – the 2025 GR Yaris, GR Corolla, and Corolla GR Sport.
The vehicles, unveiled during the Toyota Gazoo Racing Season 7 finale, highlight Toyota's commitment to delivering exhilarating driving experiences.
Inspired by Toyota Gazoo Racing's motorsport expertise, UMW Toyota said these models have been generating excitement among Malaysians since its global introduction in 2007.
The Corolla GR Sport range offers a bold, sporty aesthetic combined with everyday practicality, showcasing Toyota's ability to bring the essence of performance to all drivers.
The models also showcase Toyota's focus on performance innovation and its multi-pathway approach, offering options to suit different driver preferences.
UMW Toyota president Datuk Ravindran K said Toyota has been a part of Malaysian roads and lives for nearly seven decades.
"Driving is more than just getting from one place to another. It is about the feeling, the connection to the road, and the joy of movement.
"With these GR and GR Sport models, we are continuing that legacy and taking the driving experience to a new level," he said in a statement.
Ravindran said the launch reaffirms the group's commitment to bringing driving joy to the heart of Malaysia while staying true to its promise to inspire journeys.
The 2025 GR Yaris is available in four striking colours, including the new Precious Metal, with prices starting at RM315,600.
Meanwhile, the 2025 GR Corolla, starting at RM367,000, is available in vibrant colors such as Platinum White Pearl Mica, Precious Black, Precious Metal, and Emotional Red 2.
The Corolla GR Sport, priced from RM149,800, comes in stylish two-tone color options, including Platinum White Pearl Mica, Red Mica Metallic, and Attitude Black Mica with a Black Roof.
