IHH Healthcare Malaysia has launched the "Act Sooner, Live Better" initiative which highlights the importance of early medical intervention in heart, cancer, and bone and joint care.
This initiative addresses the importance of timely diagnosis and early treatment for these conditions.
According to the National Health and Morbidity Survey 2019, only 49 percent of Malaysians underwent health screenings, highlighting the urgent need for increased awareness about the importance of regular check-ups.
Furthermore, heart disease remains the leading cause of premature deaths in Malaysia. Cancer rates are also increasing while more people are experiencing issues with their bones and joints due to inactive lifestyles.
The "Act Sooner, Live Better" initiative highlights the importance of preventive healthcare, emphasising the need for regular health screenings and early medical intervention, says IHH Healthcare Malaysia chief commercial officer Sipika Singh.
Visitors to the event will be able to embark on an immersive and educational journey upon entering "The Black Box", where they can access vital information about heart, cancer, and bone and joint care.
