#SHOWBIZ: Hannah Delisha finds peace after loss

KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Hannah Delisha shared her thoughts on motherhood and family planning following a miscarriage last March.

"I believe that when the time is right, and if God wills it, He will bless me with a child," said Hannah in a Harian Metro report.

The 28-year-old Singapore-born artiste also emphasised the importance of accepting destiny, a lesson instilled by her mother.

Hannah admitted that her views on family planning have changed since her loss.

"I didn't initially believe in planning because I felt it wouldn't guarantee anything.

"But after the miscarriage, my mother reminded me to trust in God's timing," she said.

Previously, Hannah had hoped to have children before turning 30.

However, she now acknowledges the need to adapt.

"We can plan, but ultimately, God decides. If I'm blessed with a child after 30, I will accept it," she added.

Balancing a demanding acting career, Hannah also highlighted the importance of health.

"Some women can juggle busy schedules and have smooth pregnancies.

"For me, I realised I need rest during the first trimester, so I may need to plan more carefully in the future," she explained.

Hannah married Singaporean actor Imam Shah on Feb 18, 2021.
