KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Siti Saleha has been nominated for an award at the upcoming Seoul International Drama Awards (SDA) 2024.
The 34-year-old artiste has been nominated for the Outstanding Asian Star award in the International Invitational category for her role in the Tonton Original Series, titled 'SeOfis', which premiered on Tonton earlier this year.
"I'm very honoured to have been nominated for this award, especially since this recognition comes from an international level awards show," said Siti Saleha during a G-Meet interview held earlier today.
The actress only found out that she was nominated for this award last month and was pleasantly surprised.
She is set to leave for South Korea later tonight, and was glad that she could arrange her schedule to accommodate attending the gala night which will take place on Wednesday.
"I don't expect to win anything, but to be nominated is already sufficient to make me feel like I've already won," she said humbly.
In the drama series, Siti Saleha played the role of Sam, alongside two other lead characters portrayed by Nadiya Nisaa and Nadia Aqilah.
'SeOfis' follows the stories of three entrepreneurial career women who run their own business enterprises under a shared working space, who later develop a bond through their journeys in both their personal and professional lives.
