KUALA LUMPUR: Social media influencer Aisyah Hijanah Azhari reportedly filed for divorce against her husband, Alif Teega, last month.
The 26-year-old personality submitted the application to the Gombak Timur Lower Syariah Court in Ampang, Selangor, according to a Berita Harian report yesterday.
Aisyah is reported to have said that it was a tough test for herself, besides asking people to pray for the best for them.
"From last month actually (divorce file). Pray for me because my test is tough," she said.
Aisyah, however, refused to elaborate on the decision and added that the action was of her own choice without being influenced by any party.
"I don't want to share more because it's very personal and involves people.
"It doesn't matter because I chose the path to separate myself, not because of anyone," she said.
Aisyah and Alif Teega, whose real name is Mohd Hazalif Mohd Hazani, tied the knot on Nov 25, 2017.
They are blessed with three children, Khadeejah Hijanah, Muhammad Hassan Syarif, and Safiyyah Hijanah.
It is believed that the couple's relationship came under public scrutiny after Aliff had a second marriage to Fatin Umaidah in Thailand in November last year.
