KUALA LUMPUR: Shell crowned five enterprising winners for Shell LiveWIRE Malaysia 2024 Peninsular Malaysia edition, following a final pitch competition held at Wisma Shell in Cyberjaya today.
The winners were—Aqufish PLT, Reclimate Sdn Bhd, Synbiozymes Sdn Bhd, Plus Vibes (M) Sdn Bhd, and Zircochem Resources—.
In its third consecutive year, Shell LiveWIRE Malaysia 2024 Peninsular Malaysia participants went through a rigorous selection process that started with a boot camp and culminated in the shortlisting of 10 enterprises for a final pitch competition.
The five winners were chosen from the 10 pitches which showcased the enterprises' commitment to refining their business propositions with detailed business plans.
The five winning enterprises received a startup fund of RM10,000.00 each from Shell.
They will also benefit from a year of business coaching to refine their plans and transform them into successful ventures.
Additionally, the winners will gain access to the global LiveWIRE network, enabling them to share insights with entrepreneurs worldwide and potentially participate in the annual Shell Global Top Ten Innovators Awards.

Our LiveWIRE programme offers a platform for entrepreneurs to connect with the global LiveWIRE network, helping them further develop their businesses and contribute to the nation's socio-economic development,"Shell Malaysia Upstream, General Manager for Malaysia projects Norizah Othman said in the statement.
The judges for Shell LiveWIRE Malaysia 2024 Peninsular Malaysia finals were Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd portfolio management grant manager Izzianni Ismail, New Straits Times, news editor Presenna Nambiar, and Shell Malaysia territory manager Ezy Zainudin.
Shell LiveWIRE is Shell's flagship enterprise development programme, designed to boost local economies worldwide by promoting and supporting entrepreneurship.
Launched in Sabah in 2015 and extended to Sarawak in 2016, the programme aims to inspire young entrepreneurs to innovate and develop viable business solutions addressing current socio-economic needs.
Since 2022, Shell LiveWIRE has also included entrepreneurs from Peninsular Malaysia, further broadening its reach and impact.
