KUALA LUMPUR: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd, has accepted two letters of award (LOAs) from YM Teras Sdn Bhd and Worktime Engineering Sdn Bhd totalling RM36.36 million.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the construction outfit said the LOA with YM Teras involved the installation of 33 kilovolts (kV) of aluminium cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) underground cables and accessories for asset development in Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, and Johor.
The group said the contract, worth RM29.77 million, shall be effective from the date of acceptance and shall be completed within 580 days from the acceptance date.
Meanwhile, the company also said the LOA issued by Worktime Engineering includes the pulling of 132kV underground cables for a data centre in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
The scope of works would include the construction of power cables, fibre optic cables, joint and termination, testing, commissioning, and all ancillary works.
"The contract sum amounts to RM6.59 million based on a fixed contract rate basis.
"The contract shall commence on the date of acceptance of the LOA, for 17 months," the group said.
