foodpanda launches private label grocery brand 'bright', 25pc more affordable than non-house brands

KUALA LUMPUR: Food delivery platform foodpanda has broadened its grocery selection with its private label brand, bright, which offers 25 per cent more savings from non-house brand products.

It offers more than 200 products across three sub-brands.

These sub-brands are brightfarms for fresh produce, brightyums for pantry staples, ready-to-eat meals, snacks, and beverages, and brightspots for household essentials.

foodpanda said that introducing the bright brand is part of its strategy to become the preferred platform for online grocery shopping, particularly as customers that are more price-conscious.

"Items under the bright range will be available in all pandamart stores across Malaysia which also boasts to have the widest variety of products at launch," it said.

The delivery platform said that bright products are sourced directly from suppliers, affording 25 per cent more savings compared with non-house brand products.

"foodpanda also has full supervision of the manufacturing process and implements strict quality control to ensure consistency in standards," it added.

foodpanda Malaysia director of q-commerce Kevin Zagolin said the unveiling of bright spotlights its commitment to provide customers with products that they need."In fact, every item under the bright label is the result of in-depth research and rigorous testing to ensure our products are high-quality and affordable," he said.
