'Gojes' to prove himself in reunion with Homebois

KUALA LUMPUR: Ilman Zareef "Gojes" Zulkifli will have the opportunity to show what he is capable of when the Selangor Red Giants (SRG) player goes on loan to Homebois, said SRG team manager Amir Syafiq Abd. Rashid.

Yesterday, Timesport reported that the SRG substitute player would be donning Homebois colours for the Challenge Season of the Snapdragon Pro Series from Jan 6-12.

Amir said that the former Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League Malaysia (MPLMY) champions approached SRG for Ilman Zareef's services.

"This will be positive for Gojes as it is difficult for him to get game time at SRG. So it is better for him to go to Homebois and show what he is capable of," said Amir.

"At the moment, we are not sure if he will be at Homebois for the rest of the season. It all depends on his performance in the Snapdragon Pro Series."

It will be a homecoming of sorts for Gojes as the EXP Laner was a Homebois Academy player before Simon Lim, co-founder of SRG, took over the roster.

Gojes, who helped Team Malaysia win the World Esports Championships in Riyadh, last month, is ready to click with Homebois.
