KUALA LUMPUR: After two consecutive defeats, Selangor aim to return to winning ways when they entertain Penang in Saturday's Super League match at MBPJ Stadium.
Nidzam Jamil's side lost 1-0 and 3-2 to KL City (July 14 — Super League) and Terengganu (July 19 — FA Cup) in their previous two games.
"We need to bounce back, especially at home. The defeat to KL City was a significant blow, and the previous loss to Terengganu has only added to our urgency for a win," said Red Giants coach Nidzam.
The 44-year-old coach also acknowledged the formidable challenge posed by Penang, who is under the guidance of Akmal Rizal Rakhli.
"Under Akmal, Penang have become a very strong team," said Nidzam.
"However, we must stop losing and win more matches."
