KUALA LUMPUR: World No. 8 Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani showed signs of returning to form with a gutsy display to reach the last 16 of the Super 750 China Masters today.
The Malaysian pair came from behind to beat Kenya Mitsuhashi-Hiroki Okamura 21-23, 21-14, 21-13 at Shenzhen Gymnasium.
It was their third straight victory over the world No. 20 Japanese combination.
Sze Fei-Izzuddin have been struggling to maintain the impressive form that saw them clinch back-to-back titles at the Super 1000 China Open and Super 500 Arctic Open.
They suffered a first-round exit at the Denmark Open and reached only the last 16 at last week's Kumamoto Masters.
