KUALA LUMPUR: A video of two dogs trapped in gunny sacks by an empty shoplot raised concerns about the prevalence of animal cruelty in Malaysia.
The 58-second video, shared by @syamsul0369, shows a man rescuing the dogs by untying the sacks and freeing them.
Once released, the dogs quickly run away from the shoplot, with the rescuer following to ensure their safety.
The video garnered over 128,900 views and more than 4,000 likes, sparking both praise and concern for the trapped dogs.
